A second foreign language (101 through 104 In the Freshman and Sophomore year) Is strongly recommended.  Substitution of four area studies courses for this requirement can be discussed with the advisor.

This program has been designed to improve language proficiency and to introduce students to the literatures and literary context of Spain, Lain America and Hispanic United States.
