Teaching Assistantships are available in the French, Italian, and Spanish programs. These include waiver of tuition and an annual stipend of $11,000. At the same time they engage in teaching undergraduate language courses in the classroom and lab, graduate assistants develop their mastery of the art of teaching under the supervision of faculty skilled in language instruction.
An application form for the teaching assistanship is included in the packet sent to all prospective students who request information about graduate programs in the Department.
