I am pleased to inform you that two Alessandro S. Crisafulli Grants-in-Aid have been instituted for graduate students to give papers at professional conferences. These grants of $200.00 each (with a possibility of raising the amount to $300.00 in special cases) will be awarded per academic year. Applicants should be endorsed by one of their professors, fill an application available in the Department’s main office; provide proof that the paper has been accepted, and a copy of the paper. No student may receive more than one such grant per year. Applications for the spring must be submitted to the Chair of the Department of Modern Languages, McMahon 208 by March 1st.
