Biography
Nieves was born in Toledo, a city located in the heart of Spain. She earned her B.A. in English studies, with a specialization in the Contemporary North American novel at Complutense University of Madrid. After her graduation in 2010, she moved to the United States, where she has been working as a Spanish instructor in different institutions: Luther College (2011-2013) and University of Wisconsin (2013-2014). Next, she moved to Shanghai (China), where she worked as a a translator (from English into Spanish). Moreover, she collaborates as a Spanish instructor every summer at the Castilla La Mancha University in Toledo (since 2012).
Currently, Nieves is working in her MA in Spanish and her interests lies in Contemporary Spanish Peninsular Literature and Culture.
