Sissy Helguero was born in La Paz, Bolivia. She spent Secondary School in London but earned her Bachelor's degree in Economics at the Universidad Mayor de San Simón de Cochabamba, Bolivia, and achieved a Diploma in Formulation, Preparation and Evaluation of Projects. To complement her degree, she studied French at the Bolivian Alliance Française. As a part time hobby she was always interested in studying a variety of languages like Portuguese and Mandarin Chinese to allow her to increase her opportunities to know more cultures. Later on, Helguero got a Diploma in Teaching Higher Education Studies at The Catholic University of Bolivia and started teaching English in a one to one classes. Currently, Helguero is studying at The Tim and Steph Busch School of Business and Economics, at The Catholic University of America, where she is pursuing his Master in Integral Economic Development Management.
